Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières
Attended by 14,500 students from around the world, the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières embodies both knowledge and excellence. Its commitment to economic, social and cultural development attracts experts in leading-edge and emerging sectors.
Each year, the university offers 280 programs during its three semesters, notably in the fields of health, science, engineering, administration and education. It is also home to more than 40 programs found nowhere else in Quebec, further examples of its bold, original approach.

Professional and technical training
Catering to the needs of the job market, the professional and technical training schools play an important role in the Trois-Rivières education system.
At the college level are Cégep de Trois-Rivières, a public institution, and the private Collège Laflèche. For more specialized training, students have access to professional development centres Bel-Avenir and Qualitech.
