The Port of Trois-Rivières has an average water depth ranging from 11.5 to 12.4 metres, depending on the season, which allows it to accommodate high-tonnage ocean-going vessels. The port is linked to the rest of North America through excellent railway and road connections. It also offers nine commercial wharf sections, three general cargo warehouses, eight solid bulk warehouses, two tank farms as well as grain elevators, outdoor storage areas and two harbour cranes.
